Claims

No claims or rejections will be entertained unless advised in writing within 3 days from the date of delivery of goods giving full details.

Non delivery must be notified in writing within 14 days of invoice.

Business hours

Our normal hours of business are Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm

Property

  • The property in the goods shall not pass to the buyers and the buyers shall keep the goods as bailees and Trustees for the sellers (Returning them at the sellers request) until the price of the goods shall have been paid in full.
  • Notwithstanding the foregoing goods are at the entire risk of the buyers from time of dispatch.
  • All contracts made under these conditions shall be governed by English Law, and the buyer and the seller

Shall submit to the exclusive jurisdictions of the English courts.

Payment

Payment terms

  • Cash / cheque with Order (Personal cheques must have a valid bankers card, ID required with company cheques)
  • Account customers, unless otherwise agreed in writing is 30 days from end of month of transaction.
  • Visa, Switch and other major credit/debit cards are welcomed for telephone, mail order and counter sales.

Part Shipments

Orders are dispatched complete whenever possible, but in the event of shortages, part shipments will be made In absence of instructions to the contrary

Minimum order

Please note: Minimum order charge on goods to be delivered by or own transport is £25.00 + VAT, Cash purchases at counter is £10.00 + VAT. Website orders where customer is paying carriage no minimum order applies and carriage is free of charge at £100 Nett (excluding VAT)

Prices (All prices listed are in £ GBP and exclude VAT at ruling rate)

All prices are inclusive of standard non returnable packaging and exclude VAT which will be charged at the rate prevailing at Date of dispatch. (Tax point) Prices may be varied with out notice and may be charged at those ruling at the time of dispatch. The prices given are correct at the time of printing, but the company reserves the right to make changes and alterations in both prices and discounts without notice should Circumstances make it necessary. Please note; it is not always possible to keep everyone up to date with all price changes therefore PLEASE CHECK PRICES AT TIME OF PLACING THE ORDER. Notwithstanding the above we do try hard to maintain these published prices for as long as possible.

Specifications and suitability

All measurements, capacities, descriptions and illustrations in any of our publications are intended to provide general guidance only they are approximate in many cases and no responsibility for errors or inaccuracy is accepted under any circumstances whatever. As most manufacturers reserve the right to amend specifications without notice, customers are advised to check specifications prior to ordering and to carefully check goods and instructions on receipt. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the suitability of products for specific hazards and environments prior to use.

Samples and returns

All samples are chargeable and costs of samples or other special items are borne by the purchaser and these items cannot be returned for credit. All other goods returned will be accepted only with the prior authorization of the appropriate member of staff in our sales department, and may be subject to a re-stocking charge.

Items that are claimed to be faulty if sent via carrier are to be returned and the customers cost for inspection with a written note explaining the nature of the fault, If after inspection by a representative of AWS Ltd the item is indeed faulty the item will be replaced or credited and any carriage costs refunded.

Items returned due to incorrect size/fit:

These items are to be returned at the customers expense and may incur a restocking charge, However AWS Ltd reserve the right to waive this charge or apply dependant on individual circumstances

Standard packs

Prices shown are each unless indicated and where applicable are for Pack quantity, If quantities less than a pack are required then a surcharge may be applied. When quantity ordered is other than a full multiple of a standard pack then it will be rounded up to the nearest multiple.

Carriage

UK mainland orders (excluding Highlands) with a goods value (excluding VAT) of £100 and above and sent via normal carriage methods are free of carriage charge unless advised at point of order to the contrary, Orders with a value (excluding VAT) of less than £100 will be conveyed by standard means will be subject to a £7.50 (excluding VAT) carriage charge. Deliveries to the highlands are strictly on price on application and will be advised at point of order. Local Deliveries – orders above our minimum charge of £25.00 (excluding VAT) will be delivered at our discretion by our own transport to a distance of 30 miles from our location FREE OF CHARGE. Special methods off carriage can be arranged at extra cost.
